Permanent repairsthat make replacement unnecessary.
Integrated Polymer Industries builds repair and maintenance products on IPN chemistry — saving industry tremendous amounts of downtime, money and frustration. Applied in place, by your own maintenance crew.
Two crosslinked networks, cured through one another and held by entanglement rather than a shared bond. Neither can be pulled out without breaking the other.
The problem
Replacement is not a permanent solution
Machinery, equipment, vehicles, buildings and structures represent billions of dollars of investment, and they are all at the mercy of the elements. Those six forces devalue that investment every day. Replacing the asset is sometimes impossible, always costly — and it leaves you facing the same failure again on the same schedule.
Catalog
Eleven product groups
Zero-VOC, room-temperature cure, two-component, low-to-no odour. Strong adhesion, all-weather, easy to apply — engineered against erosion, corrosion, electromagnetic interference and chemical attack. All 70 products are commercial-off-the-shelf.

IPN technology
Keep what each polymer is good at. Leave out the rest.
An IPN is two crosslinked networks cured through one another — entangled rather than chemically bonded, so neither can be pulled out without breaking the other. That structure lets us build a backbone that borrows the strengths of several polymer families while formulating out their known weaknesses.
Adhesion
Epoxies bond superbly but chalk under UV and cure brittle. We keep the bond.
Flexibility
Urethanes move with the substrate but hydrolyse, letting water in and blistering over time. We keep the movement.
UV resistance
Acrylics hold up outdoors and cure fast, but shrink, smell and will not bond to a wet surface. We keep the weathering.
The failure modes
Chalking, brittleness, hydrolysis, shrinkage, flammability, odour — the reasons single-chemistry repairs come back.
Industries
A proven track record
Design, build, manufacture, maintain, repair and operate — machinery, equipment, buildings, structures and vehicles. Offering industry commercial products since 1985.
Repair methodologies tested in the field
Built on engineering principles and proven over decades of service.
All 36 steps of paper making
Mills from Maine to Alabama and across Canada have used IPI polymers since 1985.
Pumps, pipes, tanks and basins
Secondary containment, concrete basins and factory floors held in service.
Roofs, walls, walkways and docks
Leaking roofs, weeping walls and slippery shipping docks, repaired in place.
Ordering
How to buy
All IPI products are commercial-off-the-shelf. Custom formulating, toll manufacturing, special colours, private labelling and drop shipping are available on request.
Company
An innovative organization with unique products
IPI is geared toward problem-solving in the industrial world. Research, development, marketing and training facilities and programs are all in place at our headquarters in Irvine, California.
Questions
Before you order
The things buyers ask on the first call. Anything not answered here, phone the shop.
Who is supposed to apply these products?
Trained professionals. IPI products offer uniquely engineered solutions to industrial problems and require proper application to work — substrate preparation, mixing ratio and cure conditions all matter. In most cases that means your own maintenance crew, trained on the procedure.
Training facilities and programmes are in place at our Irvine headquarters, and technical help is available on request.
What size do the kits come in?
Most products are priced as a single 500 g kit. Flooring, roofing, waterproofing and coating lines ship in larger kit sizes. Tools, equipment, reinforcing fabrics and accessories are priced in units or packs.
Custom sizes are available on request.
How do I pay, and how does it ship?
All purchases are prepaid, by bank wire transfer or a major credit card. Prices are FOB ex-factory, Irvine, California.
The IPI Terms & Conditions of Sale apply to every sale.
Can you ship outside the United States?
Request a quotation first. Export of some items is restricted by the U.S. Government; those require a DSP-5 export licence, issued under ITAR to qualified buyers only.
Contact us before distributing anything, so we can confirm commodity jurisdiction and authorised foreign end-users for your case.
Can I return something?
Only with prior written authorisation, requested within 30 days of delivery. Products with less than 80% of shelf life remaining, and expired products, are not accepted.
Authorised returns carry a 25% restocking charge plus transportation. If the return is caused by a defect attributable to IPI, full credit is allowed.
Can you formulate something for our specific problem?
Yes. Custom formulating to meet demanding engineering requirements is available on request, as are toll manufacturing, special colours, private labelling and drop shipping.
Many other products not shown in the catalog are also available — the list price sheet is not the whole range.
Why an IPN instead of a straight epoxy or urethane?
Because each single chemistry brings a known failure mode with it. Epoxies bond superbly but chalk under UV and cure brittle. Urethanes move with the substrate but hydrolyse and blister. Acrylics weather well but shrink and will not bond to a wet surface.
An interpenetrating network is two crosslinked networks cured through one another, entangled rather than chemically bonded. That structure lets us keep the adhesion, the flexibility and the UV resistance while formulating out the chalking, brittleness, hydrolysis and shrinkage.
What is warranted?
Products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship and to conform to the description on the face of the order. Product descriptions are based on laboratory test results.
There are no other warranties, express or implied. Because substrate quality, storage, handling, surface preparation, mixing, application, cure and service conditions are outside our control, the buyer is responsible for evaluating suitability for their own conditions. Full text is in the terms of sale.

Describe the failure
Tell us what broke, what it is made of and what it has to survive. We will tell you which kit makes the repair — or say plainly if this one is not ours to fix.
Call the shop
(949) 788-1050Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Pacific. Have the substrate, the damage and the operating conditions ready and we can usually point you at the right kit on the first call.
Outside those hours, or if you would rather write it down, send the details and a photograph and we will come back to you.

Have the substrate, the damage and the operating conditions ready. If none of our eleven groups is right for the job, we will say so on the call rather than sell you a kit that will not hold.
